He also relished the British icons of the 60's/70's Classic Rock/Pop, era, like Robert Plant, John Lennon, Roger Waters & Mick Jagger. However, none of these artists would manipulate and mold his artistry more than Marvin Gaye.

Calvin "Koco" Brunson

Pianist and vocalist, has been the musical director for "Ain't Misbehavin'", Oscar Brown Junior's "The Great Nitty Gritty" and "Journey through Forever". He won a Jeff award for the musical score of "In De Beginnin'". As cultural ambassador for the city of Chicago, he performed in Japan and many European festivals such as Moers in Germany, Nichelsdorff in Austria and Rome in Italy.
